Working in the room
- We are working on improving the audio in the room. We installed many acoustic tiles (4” deep) over most of the free space on the walls, and on the floor where possible. This improved the audio quality for video conferencing a lot.
- We started giving tours and demonstrations in the space.
- We are working on stereo 3D rendering, and the results are encouraging with a few tweaks. We got Unity3D working, thanks to Jason Leigh’s plugin CC_CANOE. We also got a couple of Unreal demos working (thanks to V) and a couple of web-based demos (Ryan and Khairi).
- We received two “big” rendering servers for the wall, replacing the PCs we had used so far. They use RTX Blackwell 6000 GPUs, which is exciting.
- It’s starting to be a pleasant space to work in.
