The Arcade Hosts the NSF Sage All-Hands and Advisory Committee Meetings
The Arcade hosted the NSF Sage leadership team, including EVL director Mike Papka, for their annual All-Hands Meeting (AHM) and Advisory Committee meeting, held July 29-31, 2026. For three days the teams used the room to brainstorm and discuss their AI at the edge project and its deployment.
The meetings continued directly from the Sage Grande: Summer of AI hackathon held at EVL the previous week, carrying the students’ edge deployment work into the leadership team’s planning discussions.
Throughout the meetings, the display wall was used to lay out slides, dashboards, participant introductions, and project imagery side by side, so the group could work across the full breadth of the project at once. Rather than advancing through one deck at a time, presenters moved between windows already open on the wall, and the accumulated context from earlier sessions stayed visible as the discussion moved on.
